Founder | Taylor Polecrone, RD MHSc
After 5+ years supporting a variety of clients on their weight loss journey, I built the practice I wish they'd always had.
Even with growing awareness of the complexity of weight, most people are navigating it without enough support; caught between conflicting advice online, food environments designed to work against them, and commercial programs that rarely survive real life. It's not a willpower problem.
Having supported hundreds of clients in this area has given me both the confidence and the conviction to do this work differently — wherever you're starting from.
Why Work With A
Registered Dietitian?
In Ontario, the title "Registered Dietitian" is protected by law. RDs are regulated health professionals governed by the College of Dietitians of Ontario, which means we're held to a professional standard of practice.
Working with a Registered Dietitian in Ontario means:
-
Your sessions may be covered by private health insurance — many extended health plans include Registered Dietitian coverage. Service receipts can be provided after each session for you to submit for reimbursement upon request.
-
You have a regulated professional who understands your labs, medications, health conditions, and adapts your plan as your health picture changes.
-
If you're navigating obesity treatment, managing a chronic condition, or exploring GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or other weight medications, you have a practitioner who understands the mechanism of action, and how to mitigate side effects and optimize your experience.
-
Your care is grounded in evidence-based practice, not trends or testimonials.

Vision
A Future Where...
-
Quality-of-life metrics matter more than the number on the scale.
-
People feel empowered to make informed medical decisions about their weight.
-
Obesity is treated like the chronic disease it is, with the same rigour, compassion, and long-term thinking as any other condition.
-
These conversations happen openly; without guilt, shame, or stigma.
Values
Honesty
No spin, no quick-fix promises, no just telling you what you want to hear.
Compassion
Guilt and shame are not tools. They have no place here.
Evidence-Based Rigour
What I say is grounded in science, not trends.
